JOHANNESBURG – BUSINESS leaders, global industry visionaries, opinion leaders, partners and potential partners will gather in South Africa next week for the annual Huawei Eco Connect event.
Through the event in Johannesburg, Huawei Enterprise will unveil its offerings to the South African market in 2019.
The event will also see the announcement of the annual Huawei Partner Awards at the exclusive gala dinner ceremony.
It comes at a time South African enterprises are beginning to experience the effects of the fourth industrial revolution, where rapid technological advancements are taking place such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing.
“Eco Connect is therefore an excellent occasion whereby Huawei Enterprise once more amplifies the importance of the channel and boldly reaffirms our commitment to facilitating a digitally transformed ecosystem – by expanding industry alliances, business alliances, developing platforms, and open-source communities,” said Managing Director of Huawei Enterprise South Africa, Alex Du Min.
Among exhibitors at the event will include Huawei partners such as Altron, BCX, Commvault, Datacentrix, EOH, Gijima, Mustek, Pinnacle, Tech Mahindra, TorqueIT, Trillcom and Xon.
At Mobile World Congress earlier this year, Huawei Enterprise introduced the latest AI applications in the fields of smart city, finance and retail and its digital platform, which integrates cloud, IoT and other emerging technologies to simplify digital transformation.
The products and solutions will also be on display at Eco Connect South Africa 2019.
